Life as a North Region GPST

Read about our trainees experiences of their GP training in the North of Scotland. There is a huge variety of training experiences in the north Of Scotland. This ranges from the rural experience offered in the Western Isles, Orkney and Shetland, all linked into the Rural Track program to the more urban environment of the city practices in Inverness and Aberdeen.

To give you an idea of what it is like to train in these environments a cross section of our trainees has agreed to blog about their training. Don't take our word for how great the North of Scotland is, have a read about what they think!

Kate Dixon is on the Rural Track program and is currently based in Stornoway doing her ST1 year. Read her blog

Zoe Anderson is now back in Elgin having taken a year out from the Caledonian program to work in Kambia , Sierra Leone. She has been blogging about her experiences here.
