GP trainees got a special mention at the Undergraduate GP tutor's day last week thanking them for their involvement with our medical students. This was a fantastic day highlighting the exciting new developments happening in the undergraduate GP teaching team.
There are lots of opportunities for our GP trainees to become involved with promoting GP to our medical students.
1. Joining them on their outdoor activities week in a speed dating event discussing life as a GP trainee.
2. Becoming involved with undergraduate career events
3. Becoming involved in medical student teaching
4. Becoming a mentor to a 4th year medical student
5. Volunteering to have a medical student shadow you for a day
Lots of exciting things happening now and over the coming year.
